THE CHALLENGE

The objective was to seamlessly integrate workers' time records, generate precise attendance reports, and efficiently plan and schedule teams for optimal time and resource management.

As the lead UX/UI designer, I was responsible for user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, conducting usability tests, and implementing the final design in collaboration with the development team.

  • Problem: Need for seamless integration of workers' entry and exit records for accurate attendance reports.

    Solution: Development of an application for visualizing and contrasting workers' schedules, recording and notifying discrepancies.

  • Problem:Inefficient planning and scheduling of teams.

    Solution: Calendar view for team and individual planning, allowing workers to track their working hours and visualize them in a graph.

  • Problem:Lack of real-time visibility into workers' status and equipment availability.

    Solution: Real-time timeline view for supervisors to monitor each worker and equipment availability.

  • Problem:Recording and justifying moments of disconnection.

    Solution: Implementation of a reason submission feature, allowing workers to justify their disconnection times.

User Research: Conducted interviews and surveys to understand users' needs and pain points.Analyzed competitor tools to identify improvement opportunities.

Wireframes and Prototypes: Created low-fidelity wireframes to map the application's structure and flow.Developed high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma for usability testing.

Optimized Planning: Integrated a calendar system with a graphical representation of working hours for both teams and individuals, enhancing planning capabilities.

Improved Accountability: Implemented a disconnection recording feature, allowing workers to document and justify any periods of offline status, thereby improving accountability.
