THE CHALLENGE
THE CHALLENGE

The Chiviquín Music Festival, an annual celebration of independent music in the Sierras de Córdoba, sought a refreshed brand identity that would reflect its unique blend of music, nature, and community. The challenge was to create a design that highlighted the festival’s environmental commitment while honoring the vibrant talent of local musicians. The new branding needed to be inviting, authentic, and adaptable across various platforms, from promotional materials to on-site signage. At its core, the identity had to resonate with festival-goers, fostering a sense of connection to both the music and the natural surroundings.

MY ROLE
MY ROLE

As the lead designer, I was responsible for developing the festival’s new visual identity from concept to completion. I worked closely with the festival organizers to understand their values, their vision for the festival, and the importance of community and environmental stewardship. My role included designing a charming mascot—a local bird symbolic of the Sierras de Córdoba—curating a nature-inspired color palette, and selecting a handwritten typography that conveyed warmth and inclusivity. Additionally, I incorporated illustrations of native flora and fauna to seamlessly weave the festival's environmental ethos into the visual identity.

RESULTS
RESULTS

The new branding for the Chiviquín Music Festival successfully captured the event’s spirit, blending music, nature, and community in a cohesive and visually engaging way. The endearing bird mascot became a symbol of the festival’s connection to the natural beauty of the Sierras, while the handwritten typography and nature-inspired illustrations enhanced the festival’s laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. The refreshed identity resonated deeply with attendees and participants, amplifying the festival’s presence and reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. The branding was well-received across all touchpoints, from merchandise to digital platforms, creating a lasting and memorable impression of the festival.
